Signs and Symptons of Pregnancy

When a woman becomes pregnant, there are many signals that a change has taken place in her body.

Missed Period

In almost all women, the monthly period will stop.

Sore/Swollen Breasts

Many experience tenderness to touch and noticeable swelling.

Nausea/Appetite Change

Some experience morning sickness (which may occur at any time of day really) or changes in cravings/aversions to foods.

Frequent Urination

A larger uterus, pushing on the bladder, can lead to more trips to the bathroom.

Fatigue/Dizziness

Changes in blood circulation and hormones can lead to tiredness and even feelings of faintness.

Positive Pregnancy Test

Urine tests are now more than 99% accurate if used correctly after a missed period. To schedule a free pregnancy test or sonogram call 410-788-4433.
